No Vehicles, VVIP passes Cancelled Till Feb 4: Mahakumbh To see 5 key changes After Stampede

The Maha Kumbh Mela is one of the largest religious events in the world. After the disastrous stampede incidents in the past, significant changes are being made this year to ensure safety at the event. The five major changes being implemented are as follows:

1 Cancellation of VVIP Passes Until February 4:

In an effort to avoid any chaos or VIP-related disruption, all VVIP passes have been temporarily cancelled till February 4. This will ensure that any special treatment does not hamper the smooth flow of pilgrims.

2 No Vehicles Allowed:

One of the most important changes is a complete ban on the entry of vehicles into the mela premises. This is aimed at reducing congestion and ensuring smooth movement of large crowds. Only emergency vehicles and essential service vehicles will be allowed.

3 Upgraded Medical Facilities:

In response to previous emergencies, authorities have increased the number of medical facilities and emergency medical teams throughout the Kumbh Mela complex. More first aid centres and large, well-equipped emergency response teams will be deployed at strategic points to immediately deal with any health-related problems.

4 Strict Crowd Control Measures:

Crowd management will be improved this time, with better barricades and clear pathways for pilgrims. Real-time monitoring will be done using drones and CCTV cameras to track and manage the crowd more effectively.
